Movie Night and Music: Border Radio Screening and Stone Cupid set

Fond Object Records has a great Sunday night tradition of screening a favorite TV series, then a movie along with a keg and neighborhood friends. On August 9th, after "True Detective," Julie and Stone Cupid will play a short teaser set with music from the new album and a couple Divine Horsemen tunes.
That's because Julie's ex and bandmate Chris D. is the leading actor in Allison Anders' first feature, BORDER RADIO, which also stars John Doe, Dave Alvin, Texacala Jones, Luanna Anders, and many LA scenesters of the day in the mid-eighties, including a cameo by our own Julie Christensen.
